The Turning
Elemental Dance Company presents The Turning, an intimate black box performance inspired by the shifting seasons and the ways we experience change.
Drawing inspiration from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, the production blends selections from the iconic score with additional music to create a fresh, contemporary journey through spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Through movement and sound, the dancers explore cycles of growth, intensity, release, and stillness—reflecting the natural rhythms that shape the world around us and our lives within it.
Join us for an up-close evening of dance as Elemental’s artists bring each season to life through movement, emotion, and transformation.

Presented by Elemental Dance Company
Join us June 12–13, 2027, for Elemental Dance Company’s Fourth Annual Choreographers Showcase, Threads: an evening of contemporary dance celebrating creativity, collaboration, and human connection.
In collaboration with local artists, Threads explores the invisible connections woven through our shared experiences. Through movement and storytelling, choreographers examine themes of mental health, vulnerability, resilience, healing, and the emotional journeys that shape us.
Each work offers a unique perspective on struggle, growth, transformation, and the ways our stories intersect. Together, these pieces create space for reflection, empathy, and deeper understanding.
At its core, Threads is both a performance and a conversation. One that aims to reduce stigma surrounding mental health while celebrating the power of art to help us connect, process, and heal.
