Submit Your Work for Threads: A Choreographers’ Showcase

Elemental Dance Company is now accepting submissions for Threads: A Choreographers’ Showcase, an evening of original dance works exploring the connections that bind us.

We welcome submissions from choreographers of all backgrounds and experience levels. Works may be solo, duet, or group pieces and must be 8 minutes or less. All pieces should connect to the theme of Threads, with room for interpretation that is either abstract or literal.

Selected choreographers will present their work at the CSN Horn Theater on June 27 + 28, 2026. A required tech daywill take place on June 26, 2026, and each selected piece will receive 30 minutes of tech time.

The submission fee is $25, and accepted works will have a $50 participation fee.
Submissions close April 30, 2026, and choreographers will be notified of their acceptance status by May 17, 2026 at 11:59 PM.

Elemental Wellness Event
May 2–3 | Las Vegas

Join Elemental Dance Company for a two-day wellness event focused on supporting both dancers and the wider community through movement, education, and self-care.

May 2 – Dancers Wellness Day
A day designed specifically for dancers featuring workshops and sessions focused on dance movement therapy, exploring your own choreographic voice through a structured improvisation class, and self-care reflection.

May 3 – Community Wellness Day
Open to the public, this day brings together local wellness professionals to share resources, activities, and practices that support overall health and well-being.

Join us on June 27th and 28th, 2026, at the CSN Horn Theater for Elemental Dance Company’s Third Annual Choreographers Showcase Threads. An inspiring evening celebrating creativity, collaboration, and community through the art of contemporary dance.

Elemental Dance Company, in collaboration with local artists, presents Threads, a choreographers’ showcase exploring the connections that bind our shared human experiences. Through contemporary dance, artists weave together themes of mental health, vulnerability, resilience, and healing, creating space for reflection, dialogue, and deeper awareness of the emotional journeys that shape our lives.

Each work offers a unique perspective on the ways our stories intersect. How moments of struggle, growth, and transformation connect us in ways that are both deeply personal and universally human. Through movement, texture, and storytelling, the choreographers invite audiences to witness the invisible threads that link us together: our relationships, our inner battles, and the resilience that emerges when we allow ourselves to be seen.

At its core, Threads is both a performance and a conversation. By bringing artists and audiences together in a shared space, the showcase aims to spark empathy, reduce stigma around mental health, and celebrate the power of art to help us process, understand, and connect with one another.
